Welcome!

IMPORTANT NOTE: The application cycle for the 2023-24 school year is OPEN (as of September 15, 2023). Please ensure Senior students complete a General Application to begin the scholarship application process. Review both “Ours” (embedded applications) and “External” (apply on the scholarship provider website) opportunities by switching your view when you hover your mouse cursor over the “Opportunities” tab. Scholarships are being updated each week, please ensure you consistently visit the site for new deadlines.

CPS Students: Please sign in with your CPS login (user name) and password. Ensure accuracy in the spelling of your user account and ensure your CPS account is checked frequently. If you do not know your login to access CPS web-tools, please contact your counselor or school’s tech coordinator. If you need help with your Login or password, please click on trouble signing in.

Charter School students do not have “cps.edu” email accounts. Because of this, they are unable to actually sign-in to the CPS Academic Works (AW) tool to complete a General Application. However, the actual Academic Works site is a public facing site, meaning you do not have to sign-in to review scholarship postings. Click here to learn how Charter School students can access Chicago Public Schools scholarships.

If you have any questions please contact CPS Scholarship Manager at CollegeScholarships@cps.edu.
