Jack Kent Cooke Young Scholars Program
Organization & Scholarship Overview:
The Young Scholars Program, a selective five-year pre-college national scholarship for high-performing middle school students with financial need(mid-low income), it provides comprehensive academic and college advising, as well as financial support for school, Cooke-sponsored summer programs, internships, and other learning enrichment opportunities.

Scholarship Requirements:
- 7th-grade students ONLY, class of 2020
- High academic ability and achievement (A’s and B’s No C’s in core subjects)
- Three (3) letters of recommendation (2- academic teachers and 1-personal recommendation)
- Demonstrated financial need
- Drive and persistence
- Leadership
- Desire to help others
