Scholarship Overview:
National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) Chicago Chapter was founded on the principal need to positively exploit the talent pool of and business opportunities for African Americans. Working with the national organization, NAAIA Chicago builds alliances with insurance industry trade associations as well as those that represent the interests of minorities in this industry.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • African American high school senior (class of 2019)
  • Minimum 2.5 unweighted GPA
  • No minimum ACT/SAT score
  • Community involvement
  • All majors will be considered; however, preference will be given to the following majors:
    Insurance
    Risk Management
    Business
    Computer Science
    Actuarial Science
    Finance
