DePaul College Connect Summer Enrichment Program

Program Overview:
College Connect is a summer enrichment program for Chicago high school students. Designed for high school juniors (rising seniors in the summer), the program introduces students to college-level coursework in diverse fields of study, while also providing college readiness and financial literacy workshops, academic major and career exploration opportunities, and diverse cultural experiences. Students from some 50 high schools from all over the city (and a few suburbs) participate in the program every summer.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must attend high school in Chicago;
  • Be in grade 11 (rising senior; class of 2022);
  • Have a minimum 2.5 GPA;
  • A good attendance record and plans for college

Required Documents:

  1. Complete online application
  2. Personal statement (explain why you want to be a part of College Connect, what you hope to gain by participating, and what you can bring to the program)
  3. Current high school transcript (PDF is acceptable)
  4. Recommendation letter from a high school counselor or teacher

College Connect 2021 will run from June 28 through July 30. Classes will be held Mondays through Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
