Organization & Scholarship Overview:
Project LOVE is a charitable organization that provides critical resources to minorities to help them advance professionally. The Project Love Stimulus is a $1,500 stimulus for class of 2021 African American, low-income, Chicago Public School graduates to assist them in acquiring supplies as they transition to their first semester of college.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be African American
  • Must be a graduating senior (class of 2021) attending Chicago Public Schools
  • Must posses a minimum 2.5 weighted GPA
  • Must qualify for low income financial assistance
  • Must plan to attend an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university

Supplemental Questions
  1. Essay: Write a short essay that describes areas in your life where you demonstrated leadership to overcome an obstacle either in your school, social, or family life.
  2. Please upload a copy of your acceptance letter to an accredited college or university.
  3. Please upload a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov) OR a copy of your Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid (intended for qualifying undocumented and transgender students)
  4. Please provide the name and email of a school official who will submit your letter of recommendation. Letter can be from a teacher, counselor, principal or college and career coach.
  5. Official Transcript Required
