The STEMINIST Scholarship Program provides financial support to women pursuing college degrees in engineering or computer science! Calculated Genius is proud to support and encourage women to pursue degrees in engineering by recognizing their talents with financial awards.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a female graduating high school student majoring in ENGINEERING or COMPUTER SCIENCE at an accredited 4-year university.
- Have a minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
- Must major (or intend on majoring) in ENGINEERING or COMPUTER SCIENCE.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident or have active Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status.
- Geography: Chicago metropolitan area students
Required Documents:
- High School Transcript: Upcoming College Freshmen.
- At least one (1) letter of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor or community supporter.
- Complete a 300-500 word essay on how this scholarship will help you meet your educational and career goals including WHY you are pursuing a degree in engineering or computer science.
Open to DREAMers: Yes
Renewable: No, however, students are welcome to reapply each year in which they meet the eligibility criteria.
