Chicago State University (CSU) recognizes the importance of a quality education and is dedicated to helping students find a way to achieve their higher education goals. To help in this effort, Chicago State University offers merit-based scholarships to academically talented students. CSU Merit Scholarships are automatically awarded to qualified students who apply early.

Scholarship Requirements: Chicago Public Schools high school senior, applicant must be admitted to Chicago State University for 2015-2016 academic year, minimum ACT score of 20 and minimum GPA of 2.75 (uniweighted) and complete a FAFSA

Renewable: Yes, for up to 4 years.

Scholarship Award Amount Information:

  1. 3.25 GPA, 29 – 36 ACT = $12,000/yr
  2. 3.0 GPA, 25 – 28 ACT = $4,000/yr
  3. 3.0 GPA, 22 – 24 ACT = $3,000/yr
  4. 2.75 GPA, 20-36 ACT = $2,000/yr
