Zeta Tau Zeta White Rose Foundation, Inc. Scholarships

Organization & Scholarship Overview:
Zeta Tau Zeta White Rose Foundation, Inc., an entity of Zeta Tau Zeta Chicago Metropolitan Graduate Chapter, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is pleased to announce The White Rose Foundation Scholarship Awards. Scholarships are given in honor of members of the chapter who have dedicated fifty or more years of service to the Sorority. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 16, 1920 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. The illustrious founders, known as the Five Pearls, are Arizona Cleaver Stemons, Myrtle Tyler Faithful, Viola Tyler Goings, Fannie Pettie Watts and Pearl Anna Neal. To guide Zeta, the Pearls adopted a legacy bound by four principles: Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood. The organization now consists of women who are undergraduate students and college graduates, seeking to positively impact the community and improve the lives of others. The scholarship categories are Traditional Scholarship, Non-Traditional Scholarship , and Two-Year, Community College, Technical or Vocational Scholarship.

Traditional Scholarship:

  • African American female who will graduate from high school in 2024
  • Must be an Illinois resident.
  • Cumulative (unweighted) GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university on a full-time basis.
  • Zeta Tau Zeta Archonette Youth Auxiliary members are eligible to apply.

Non-Traditional Scholarship:

  • African American female who received a high school diploma or obtained a GED but did not attend a college or university, or has not attended a college or university in the past three (3) years.
  • African American male who will graduate from high school in 2024.
  • Must be a Illinois resident.
  • Cumulative (unweighted) GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or associate’s degree from an accredited college or university on a full-time or part-time basis.

Two-Year, Community College, Technical or Vocational Scholarship:

  • African American female who will graduate from high school in 2024.
  • Must be an Illinois resident.
  • Cumulative (unweighted) GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Pursuing an associate’s degree, or a certification or licensure from an accredited school on a full-time or part-time basis.
  • Zeta Tau Zeta Archonette Youth Auxiliary members are eligible to apply.
